The first half of 2019 has passed away quickly and entertained us with many surprises. We saw some amazing films, which made us laugh, cry and experience all possible emotions. And all the credit goes to the actors and directors who bring to life such amazing characters and narratives. This year, we saw a lot of new jodis while a few others re-ignited their charm for new projects. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are one of the most loved couples of B-town. Fans love their chemistry on and off-screen. Sallu and Kat collaborated for Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, which released on the occasion of Eid and broke several records. Salman and Katrina are pure magic on the silver screen. In the film, Salman plays Bharat and Katrina portrayed Kumud Raina, whom Bharat lovingly refers to as Madam Sir. Their chemistry was the highlight of the film. Be it the beautiful romantic number Chashni or quirky dance number Aithey Aa, Salman and Katrina are the best!
Shahid Kapoor - Kiara Advani (Kabir Singh)

Though Shahid and Kiara were paired for a recreational track, Urvashi, Kabir Singh is their first full-length film as leads. Kabir Singh has been and still is a rage in India and its fever has gripped one and all. Kabir's obsessive love and Preeti's innocent emotions are superbly depicted in the movie. Sasha and Kiara's chemistry was charming and we couldn't think of anyone else in their place. Are you rooting for Kabir and Preeti, too?
Anil Kapoor - Madhuri Dixit (Total Dhamaal)

Comic caper, Total Dhamaal was full of funny gigs, but Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit's Tom and Jerry like equation was the best. Especially the courtroom scene, they totally owned the show. We have witnessed their amazing chemistry in the past and Anil-Madhuri can surely give the newer jodis a run for their money! It was a treat to see them romance again after a long time and we totally enjoyed what we saw!
Ranveer Singh - Alia Bhatt (Gully Boy)

Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, which starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as Murad Ahmed and Safeena Firdausi, was hugely entertaining, mostly because of the chemistry between the leads and Ranveer Singh, of course. We are in awe of this fresh pair, which until now we only enjoyed in commercials. Thanks to their amazing rapport in real-life, Ranveer and Alia's big screen performance was a real treat. And that Dhoptuingi chemistry! Need we say more?
