Ayushmann Khurrana takes a break from work to holiday with wife Tahira Kashyap

Ayushmann Khurrana and wife Tahira Kashyap jet off to Austria for a brief holiday ahead of the actor's release Dream Girl. Taking a break from the promotions of the film, Ayushmann silently flew to the European country with Tahira and is keeping the vacation a low-profile one. The couple will return to Mumbai after a week from Austria and Ayushmann will get back to promotions of the film. "Ayushmann had been looking forward to the break as he has worked continuously for the last six months. They will be exploring the scenic Salzburg and Altaussee," Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying. Looking at Ayushmann' calendar for the last 8-10 months, looks like this holiday was much needed. On the work front, Ayushmann will next be seen in Dream Girl which is directed by Raaj Shandilya. Ayushmann will be seen playing a boy and a girl and will be seen in lot of girly costumes, which was noticed in the trailer released recently. Dream Girl is directed by Raaj Shandilya who was written dialogues for films like Bhaiyaji Superhit, Welcome Back and many others. The filmmaker reveals how he got the idea of having a man dress up and speak like a woman and why he chose Ayushmann Khurrana to play the lead role.

"When I was in college, a social networking site had become very popular and I noticed that one of my friends would keep talking to someone on it for hours. When I prodded him, he said, 'Ek lakdi hai, badi acchhi baatein karti hai.' I encouraged him to meet her and when he did, he was shocked to discover that the 'girl' he was talking to turned out to be a guy. In our film, Ayushmann's character also finds himself in a sticky situation, though not on social media," Raaj Shandilya was quoted as saying by Mumbai Mirror.

The National Award winner is at his wackiest and quirkiest best and he reunites with Vicky Donor co-star Annu Kapoor in Dream Girl. His chemistry with Nushart Bharucha also seems refreshing and we are eager to see how their romance unfolds on the big screen. Watch it right here ICYMI...
