Gang Leader trailer: Nani and his women squad light up this comical revenge-drama

The trailer of Nani's Gang Leader is out now and, as always, the actor chooses yet another offbeat subject. Nani plays a writer in Gang Leader and is seen copying Hollywood thriller films for his books. He then is approached by a group of women and seek his help to take revenge on a bad guy in their lives. Nani'c character is called Pencil which is in sync with this characterisation and it is hilarious. Gang Leader also stars veteran Lakshmi along with Saranya, Priyanka and a little girl who form the women squad seeking revenge. The trailer promises that the film is high on comedy and has Nani playing a funny character. The dialogues mouthed by Nani will leave you in splits and leave you asking for more. RX 100 fame actor Kartikeya plays the antagonist in the film and looks stylish and suave. Directed by Vikram K Kumar, Gang Leader seems to have right dosage of comedy, thrill and action in it. In the trailer, Lakshmi is seen playing a stereotypical grandmother who is excited for everything in life. Her dialogues and timing steal the show and make you think 'Is there anything she can't do?'. What has also created a buzz around the film is the Chiranjeevi connection to the title. The setup of the film looks vibrant and is due to the appealing Production Design by Rajeevan. Anirudh Ravichander doesn't drop an oppurtunity to impress with his stellar music and Gang Leader is yet another example.

Gang Leader was the title of a 1991 release starring Chiranjeevi and was one of the biggest blockbuster hits of 90s'. And with the same title being used for this Nani film, fans cannot keep calm. Gang Leader is the first collaboration of Nani and Vikram K Kumar and this in itself has created quite an excitement amongst fans. Priyanka Mohan will be making her debut in Telugu cinema with Gang Leader. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Gang Leader is slated to be released on September 13 worldwide.
