Giving us all the perfect Diwali surprise is ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has made the big official announcement this morning. All this while, we had been talking about his much anticipated next – Gangubai Kathiawadi which will star Alia Bhatt in the lead. Now, we have a big update on SLB’s next big project. According to an official statement, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be directing his most ambitious project – Baiju Bawra which will release on Diwali 2021.
Along with this, Bhansali productions also announced the release date of Gangubai Kathiawadi. The film will hit the screens on 11th September 2020. What becomes interesting is that Baiju Bawra will be clashing with Deepika Padukone starrer Mahabharat which will be made in two parts and the first part is scheduled for a Diwali 2021 release.
