Ajay Devgn's De De Pyaar De performs better than Arjun Kapoor's India's Most Wanted at the box office

Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer De De Pyaar De is trending very well in its second week at the ticket windows. The urban romantic comedy continues to be the first choice for the moviegoers. In fact, it is performing better than new Hindi releases India's Most Wanted and PM Narendra Modi at the box office. The film raked in Rs 4.78 crore yesterday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 69.41 crore. It will cross the Rs 75 crore mark today.

Directed by Akiv Ali, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg under their respective banners T-Series and Luv Films. The film also stars Rakul Preet, Jaaved Jafferi, Jimmy Sheirgill and Alok Nath in key roles.

The film has received positive reviews from the cinegoers. Our critic, Urmimala Banerjee gave the film 3 stars and wrote, "A quirky plot, some killer dialogues and Ajay and Tabu's chemistry make it a decent one time watch. If you can ignore the problematic areas, the film is one time Paisa vasool." She also praised the writing of the film and wrote, "The biggest highlight of the film are the one liners. Some of them are absolute killers! Yes, some might find them sexist but you cannot ignore that the writing is quite clever. Full credit to Luv Ranjan, Surabhi Bhatnagar and Tarun Jain."
