Not Iron Man or Captain America, but THIS Avenger is Sidharth Malhotra's favourite - find out!

Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra is everywhere these days. When not shooting for his next film Shershaah with co-star Kiara Advani, he is busy on social media to the delight of his fans and even engages with them. In fact, the team recently wrapped up the first schedule which was shot in Chandigarh and of Palampur. Shershaah is a biopic on the life of Kargil hero, Captain Vikram Batra. He was nicknamed as Shershaah, The Lion King by the Pakistan Army. He was the recipient of the Param Vir Chakra, the highest award for bravery and valour. And seems like Sidharth had a little spare time after landing in the bay and had an #AskSid session on Twitter. Needless to say, he dolled out a lot of tidbits including how he would like to work with Deepika Padukone next. That's right, Sidharth on Friday night treated his fans and followers with a question and answer session. And just guess what? It just gives! It so happened that a Twitter user asked him to choose between Tony Stark and Captain America. And pat came a reply, "Thor" along with a muscle and fire emoji. So now, you know how 'worthy' he is!

He was also asked about his favourite character from the popular American sitcom Friends. And Sid's fave character is our face character and it's none other than "Chandler." Another fan asked him to describe the National Award-winning actor Akshay Kumar, to which he replied with a word that sufficed all - "Brother."

Talking about Shershaah, it will be Sidharth s first ever biopic in his career of seven years and is based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, the 1999 Kargil war hero. Vikram Batra was a fearless officer who was posthumously awarded the Param Veer Chakra for his bravery in the battle with the Pakistani army. thThe film is expected to release in early 2020. In an interaction with Mid-Day, Sidharth had revealed about his obsession with weapons. "It will involve a lot of weaponry. I'm obsessed with weapons. My father had got me a pellet gun, the kind that was used in Home Alone(1990), and I was obsessed with that. So, I'm excited to try different weapons for it," he told the tabloid.

Apart from this, Sidharth recently completed the shoot of Marjaavan and Jabariya Jodi. He will be doing a full-on Bollywood masala entertainer with Marjaavan. Apart from Sidharth, the film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Tara Sutaria and Ritesh Deshmukh. The film will be helmed by Milap Zaveri and is said to release on October 2 this year. With Jabariya Jodi, Sidharth will be paired opposite his Hasee Toh Phasee co-star Parineeti Chopra. The film also stars Sanjay Mishra, Aparshakti Khurrana and Javed Jaffrey.
