Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Malaal gets a new release date; now to hit screens on July 5

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who launched two of today's super stars like Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor with Saawariya is launching another pair soon and we are quite excited about seeing the two on-screen. This time, it is Bela Segal's (Sanjay Leela Bhansali's sister) daughter Sharmin Segal and star comedian Jaaved Jaaferi's son Meezaan. SLB has seen the young actors as he grew up and has also been personally involved in preparing the two for Bollywood. However, the wait for this upcoming SLB movie just got longer as the makers announced a new release date for the project. As per the trailer released on May 18, the film was supposed to hit the screens on June 28. However, due to reasons best known to the makers, it will now release on July 5.

The trailer sees Meezan as the male lead, while the female protagonist Astha has been played by SLB's niece Sharmin. The video opens amidst a chawl introducing us to two new unconventional facs. While Meezan's rugged avatar as Shiva More might get him a lot of attention from all the ends, Sharmin's innocent yet not-so-docile Astha will become a heartthrob. Their love story is at the centre of all the action in the movie which seems with a raw story from the chawls of Mumbai.
