Sidharth Malhotra is currently busy shooting for the biopic on the life of late captain Vikram Batra. But that doesn't stop him from interacting with fans and letting them have a teensy bit sneak peek into what his mind thinks. And that is what happened today.
The actor who flew out to Mumbai last evening conducted an #asksid session on Twitter. Fans asked him all sorts of questions ranging from food to his favourite superhero and so and so forth. However, one of the fans of Sid, asked him which actress would he like to work with and the actor's answer came s no surprise. He replied to the fan that Deepika Padukone would be his first choice as he hasn't worked with her yet. And you know what? We think they could make a good pair on screen. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone recently made stunning appearances at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival at The French Riviera. On the work front, the actress is currently working on Meghna Gulzar's film based on the life of Acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The film stars Vikrant Massey, web-series and TV sensation opposite Deepika.
Sidharth, on the other hand, has wrapped up two films, Jabariya Jodi alongside Parineeti Chopra and Marjaavaan which also stars Tara Sutaria, Arakul Preet and Ritiesh Deshmukh. Apart from these two, Jabariya Jodi also stars Javed Jaffrey, Sanjay Mishra, Aparshakti Khurrana and Ammar Taalwala in key roles. Jabariya Jodi will be helmed by Prashant Singh and Marjaavaan is being helmed by Milap Zaveri. He is currently working for Shershaah, a biopic on the life of martyred Captain Vikram Batra.
Rumour mills were abuzz that the actor could be signed up for Anees Bazmee's thriller outing, which is a sequel to 2002's hit film Aankhen. Amitabh Bachchan could be seen reprising his role again. The director was on a look-out for three males leads and a female lead. Apparently, Saif Ali Khan and Paresh Rawal are already locked in which leaves one character space, if Sidh comes aboard, it would mark his second collaboration with Jacqueline Fernandes who is selected at the female lead.
