Talking about the film, it marks the directorial debut of Anand Annamalai and is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, who have produced ventures like Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage, Rangasthalam and many more. It also marks the Telugu debut of Malavika Mohanan, who is known for her work in Ishaan Khatter's Beyond The Clouds.
Meanwhile, Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda will be next seen in Dear Comrade along with his Geetha Govindam co-star Rashmika Mandanna. The political drama is all set to hit the screens on July 26. Vijay is essaying the character of a student leader from a communist family, while Rashmika is seen as a cricketer playing for Telangana state. The film is directed by Bharat Kamma and the music of the film is composed by Justin Prabhakaran.
