John Abraham released the first teaser of his upcoming gripping encounter drama Batla House, which is based on the controversial gun battle which took place in Delhi. The 26-seconds long video gives a sneak-peek into the encounter that took place in Batla House, in September 2008. John Abraham plays the lead in this thrilling drama and the teaser promises a gripping ride, full of gunshot sounds. Check out the teaser below:
The teaser leaves you wanting for more and fulfilling that feeling, the makers are scheduled to release the trailer of Batla House on July 10. John promises an action-packed avatar, loaded with stunts. John Abraham essays the character of ACP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav in the film. Batla House is shot across Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Nepal and is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani, and John Abraham. The film marks the second collaboration between John and Nikkhil Advani after Salaam-E-Ishq.

The shoot of Batla House was wrapped up in February and the film is scheduled to hit the screens on August 15, Independence Day weekend. Releasing on the same date is Akshay Kumar-Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Mission Mangal and Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor's Saaho. It is going to be a big clash at the box office as till now, none of the films have shifted its date.
