No one would have thought after playing a boy-next-door character in Masaan and a typical Gujarati person in Sanju, Vicky will nail the role of a fierce army man in Uri: The Surgical Strike. But boy, the actor lived up to the character of Major Vihaan Shergill and made this revenge war drama a turning point of his career. His war-cry 'How's The Josh?' became an anthem, nationwide. With the grand total of Rs 245.36 crore, it is currently the highest grossing film of 2019.
Ranveer Singh - Gully Boy
Well, Ranveer Singh is definitely a chameleon and he can get into the skin of any character. After playing the menacing emperor Sultan Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat and kickass cop in Simmba, Ranveer played an underdog rapper from the slums and showed his rapping skills in Gully Boy. He made the character of Murad special for us and we are sure even he agrees with that.
Salman Khan Bharat
Bharat is one film for which Salman Khan stepped out of his comfort zone, shedding his superstardom to play the character with utmost sincerity. Honestly, just for going through the physical transformation from a 20-year-old to a 72-year old man, SK deserves an applause. The actor played the innocent character with great conviction and we couldn't imagine anyone else playing Bharat.
Shahid Kapoor - Kabir Singh
Kabir Singh has turned out to be a game-changer for Shahid Kapoor and honestly, he deserves all the appreciation and accolades. The actor has lived the character and portrayed each and every emotion with finesse that directly strikes a chord with the audience. Definitely, this is Shasha's career-best performance.
