In Tamil, Taapsee made a comeback of sorts with the thriller Game Over and audience couldn't have asked for a better film to binge on in this genre. In Kannada, Hariprriya hasn't had a competition to her performance in Bell Bottom which stands as one of the better films made in the industry this year. And to look at who impressed you the most, we are running a quick poll for the Best South Actress in the first half of 2019.
Samantha Akkineni Majili:
Playing a soft-spoken and obliging wife, Samantha Akkineni unleased the performer in her and delivered a stunner of an act in Majili. This romantic tale was the first film of the couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha post their wedding and they did more than well leaving fans asking for more. Samantha's character Sravani may have had shades of suppression, but the actress balanced it with her act and convinced audience that love wins in the end. Have you watched Majili yet?

Parvathy Uyare:

Hariprriya Bell Bottom:
This period drama, also starring Rishab Shetty, was touted to be a thriller with Hariprriya playing a strong role. Rishab Shetty plays an aspiring detective and in the process meets Kusuma, played by Hariprriya, a bootlegger who sells hooch in the local gamut. Her surreal portrayal left the audience impressed and made them term her as one of the best in the business.
Taapsee Pannu Game Over:
You cannot keep Taapsee Pannu out when you're talking about Best performances. Making a comeback of sorts in Tamil, Taapsee hit it out of the park with her uncanny acting in this thriller which was directed by Aswin Saravanan. Taapsee's portrayal only proves the passion she has for films and how much she trusts the medium to tell noteworthy stories.
