Pooja Batra-Nawab Shah are truly, madly in love - these 11 pictures are proof

Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah are the newest couple in B-town. The two actors hit it off instantly when they connected earlier this year and since, Pooja and Nawab have been painting the town red with their love. However, they kept their budding romance away from the limelight, until last month. Nawab started sharing a number of photos with his 'soulmate' and Pooja too reciprocated with some adorable comments and clicks. Having officially tied the knot, Pooja and Nawab look deeply in love and we totally adore them.

Pooja and Nawab got hitched as per Arya Samaj rituals on July 4, 2019. The couple had kept their wedding under wraps until fans noticed chooras on Pooja's hands in a video she posted on Instagram. It was a simple wedding but the happiness on their faces spoke volumes about their chemistry.

Nawab opened up about their wedding in an interview with Bombay Times and said, "When I reconnected with her, a relationship wasn't on my mind. However, at this stage in life, you feel the void of not having a companion. Pooja Batra entered my life like sunshine and I was sure that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. In fact, I wanted to marry her right after our first meeting."

Pooja told BT how people would question her for delaying her wedding with Nawab. She said, "Our loved ones kept asking us why we were delaying it (the marriage). I was simply going with the flow, but then I realised that he is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and there is no point in delaying it any further. So, here we are. We had an Arya Samaj wedding, and we will register our marriage this week."

On the work front, Pooja was last seen in psychological thriller Mirror Game (2017), which also starred Parveen Dabbas and Omi Vaidya. While, Nawab will be seen in Panipat, playing the role of Dakhani Muslim general Ibrahim Khan Gardi, who commanded a force of 10,000 men, infantry and artillery in the third battle of Panipat which took place in 1761. Panipat is scheduled to hit the screens on December 6. Nawab is also a part of Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 3, which is set for release on December 20.
