Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh is the best trending film of the year so far and is setting new benchmarks at the ticket windows. The intense love story entered the Rs 200 crore club yesterday and is now targeting Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike to become the highest grosser of the year. But the film is set to achieve a new milestone as Kabir Singh might beat the biggest hit Avengers: Endgame. The Marvel superhero had garnered around 1.15 crore footfalls in India and Kabir Singh has got 1.08 crore footfalls till now. Well since the film has one more week to perform, we are expecting the Shahid Kapoor starrer to surpass the Marvel film in the coming days. Though the film will not reach near to the collections of Avengers: Endgame as the ticket rates between the two films are quite huge.
The film has received rave reviews from all around the corners. Our editor-in-chief Tushar Joshi gave the film 4 stars and wrote, "Kabir Singh is an ace up Shahid Kapoor s sleeve and a treat for his fans. Watch it if you want some intense romance laced up with knock-out performances." He also praised Shahid's performance and said, "Shahid delivers one of his careers finest performances.
