The gen-next star of Bollywood Sidharth Malhotra is currently busy in promoting his upcoming film Jabariya Jodi along with Parineeti Chopra. Known for his charming personality and good looks, the actor always get linked up to his co-stars and this time too, the SOTY star has been linked up with his Marjaawaan and Shershaah co-stars Tara Sutaria and Kiara Advani. The actor recently reacted to this in the most Jabariya manner. When asked about Tara and Kiara, Sidharth laughed and told Mumbai Mirror, "These are jabariya (forced) rumours, jabariya link-ups, and nothing which is done jabariya is good."
Talking about Jabariya Jodi, the film is directed by Prashant Singh and also stars Aparshakti Khurana in a key role. It was initially titled as Shotgun Shaadi. The core plot of the film is set in Patna, Bihar and is co-presented by Balaji Telefilms and Karma Media Entertainment. The film is set to hit the screens on August 2.
Sidharth, earlier revealed the details about his character and said, "It is always a great learning experience to portray various shades on-screen and this time with Jabariya Jodi, it is a desi avatar. Playing a Bihari boy will be very different as it is important to catch on a certain body language, put the accent correct with the right punches." To add more, he recently quoted, "Well, Abhay Singh that s my character in Jabariya Jodi is flamboyant and colourful, so first, it was important to get the look and styling right. We decided to give him an earring, several rings on his fingers andcoloured hair. After that, I worked on the accent, which is a blend of Bhojpuri, Maithili and Magahi spoken in Patna. It was a part of a two month workshop before the shoot. I also worked on it on my own since I had a
certain body language to carry through the film."
