South Indian actress Sruthi Hariharan announced her pregnancy via her social networking pages by posting a picture of herself showing her baby bump. The picture posted by Sruthi was a blurred image which showed her baby bump confirming her pregnancy. "To actually feel life beating within you .... to know that this is the beginning of a whole new journey .. and to finally acknowledge that clarity is over rated and sometimes it's all about the blur - brings us to this point ?? Welcome to the circus little peanut We can't wait to see you ?? PC : the super excited father to be @raam.kalari[sic]," Sruthi wrote in her post on Instagram. Sruthi and her husband Raam Kalari have been receiving congratulatory messages from her fans, friends and colleagues from the South Indian film industry on their pregnancy.
It is to be noted here Sruthi Hariharan had gotten married to Raam Kalari in 2017 post the release of her film Happy New Year. However, there was no official word out on her wedding which later came as a surprise to fans. And with her announcement of pregnancy, Sruthi has made her marriage official to the world.
Sruthi was in the news in 2018 after she made allegations on South Indian actor Arjun Sarja of harassing her sexually during rehearsals of their film Nibunan. Sruthi claimed that Arjun had touched her inappropriately during the rehearsals which made news during the #MeToo movement. Sruthi received support from friends and colleagues from the film industry while she received equal backlash from Arjun Sarja s supporters, family and fans. However, over a period of time, the issue calmed down and nothing was heard about it since then.
