The most anticipated action films of the year, Saaho, is ready to rip apart the silver screen on August 30. Featuring South superstar Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunkey Pandey and others, Saaho was initially scheduled to release on Independence Day 2019. In order to avoid a box office clash with Mission Mangal and Batla House, the makers pushed the film to August 30. Prabhas makes his first appearance on the big screen after Baahubali 2. The teaser of Saaho was unveiled a few weeks ago while the trailer is yet to be out. But brace yourselves now, as Prabhas made an official announcement about the release date of Saaho trailer. And it is August 10.
Sharing this special news with his darlings (fans), Prabhas took to his Instagram handle and wrote, "Darlings, it's now time to enter the Saaho world! #SaahoTrailer out on 10th August! Stay tuned... #SaahoOnAugust30 #Saaho"
The best part about Saaho trailer is that it will be unveiled in five different cities. The actor himself will be doing a five-city tour for the trailer launch as Saaho is a multilingual film. Prabhas will launch Saaho trailer in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi.
Sujeeth is helming the mega-budget film Saaho. Sharing his experience of working with a megastar like Prabhas, he told PTI, "I did not feel the pressure to direct a big star like Prabhas. He has faith in me and my work and that matters the most to me. Also, the producers and the team members showed confidence in me. But now that the film is gearing for a release in a few months, I can feel the pressure."
Other than that, he revealed that Shraddha Kapoor's character is very important in Saaho. "It is an important role for the female character. Shraddha drives the film to the end. It was a conscious decision to make my female characters strong. When we started working on the teaser, we had two options here - to go with Prabhas, considered as a huge star and you expect him to be there in the opening scene. And other was to begin it with Shraddha and we chose the latter," he was quoted as saying by PTI.
