Janhvi Kapoor to make her Telugu debut opposite Vijay Deverakonda in his next?

Janhvi Kapoor has ample of Bollywood projects lined up including Takht, Dostana 2, Gunjan Saxena biopic, and Roohi Afza. And since she has her platter full with Hindi films, the pretty girl has also decided to venture down south. Janhvi has agreed to do a movie with Ajith Kumar, which is tentatively titled Thala 60. If a recent report is to be believed then, Janhvi Kapoor, who made her debut with Dhadak, will be seen romancing Arjun Reddy actor Vijay Deverkonda in his untitled next. Puri Jagannath has apparently approached the 22-year-old to be part of his movie and Janhvi seems to have given her nod. Interestingly, this will be Janhvi's Telugu debut movie too.

The untitled film starring Vijay Deverkonda is expected to go on floors in the coming months. Puri Jagannath in association with Charmme Kaur will be co-producing this movie under the banner of Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies and Puri Connects. Making an official announcement on Twitter, Charmme had earlier tweeted, "It's OFFICIAL!!! PC proudly announced our next project with one n only Vijay Deverkonda directed by our Puri Jagannadh ..Lavanya presentation under the banner PURI CONNECTS and PURI JAGANNATH TOURING TALKIES Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur .. More details coming soon .. till than stay tuned !!! Urs Charmee Kaur." (sic)

We wouldn't be surprised to know if Janhvi Kapoor is indeed doing this project as the actress is fond of Vijay Deverakonda. Time and again, she has confessed that she has a crush on him. During the rapid-fire of Koffee With Karan 6, Janhvi had said that she would like to wake up as Arjun Reddy star Vijay Deverakonda one day and then cast herself as the leading lady opposite Vijay in a movie.

Janhvi's dream to do a film with Vijay seems to be coming true. And we cannot wait for an official announcement to be made. Until then, keep following BL for more scoops and updates!
