BollywoodLife was the first to report that actress Gayatri Iyer, who was seen in the Ajay Devgn-led Raid, will be making her TV debut. Gayatri will be seen in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming show Haiwan - The Monster. The sci-fi drama which will air on Zee TV, will see Param Singh, Riddhima Pandit and Ankit Mohan in the leads. While Gayatri plays the antagonist we have heard that there's another nemesis in the show. TV actor Shourya Lathar is also brought on board to play one of the characters. "Shourya plays Gayatri's boyfriend in the series and his character will also be grey just like her," a source close to the development revealed.
Shourya was seen playing a character in Kapoor's show Naagin. In Naagin 3, Shourya was seen as Hukum. However, he was soon replaced by Nikitin Dheer. The actor has started the shooting for the series along with the other actors. When we contacted the Daayan actor, he confirmed the development to us. He said, "Yes, I'm playing an interesting character. I'm really excited about it. I would like to mention that I'm really thankful to the production team, Ekta ma'am and Shadman Khan, who has time and again helped me in my career. He knows his job right and has helped me get this platform."
The shooting for the series has already begun. Haiwan- The Monster is going to be a bi-weekly series. It revolves around the story of three friends, and how one wrong scientific experiment changes their life completely. Both Param and Riddhima will be returning to the fiction space after a long time.
