Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently in Australia for Indian Film Festival Of Melbourne, was mobbed by a sea of fans who were present to catch a glimpse and click a selfie with the actor. And we fall in love with SRK all over again. Talking about his visit to Australia, the actor, as mentioned above, is there to attend the Indian Film Festival Of Melbourne. Shah Rukh Khan will be felicitated with the Excellence in Cinema award at the 10th edition of IFFM by today. Linda Dessau, who was sworn in as Victoria's 29th Governor, will do the honours. The festival will celebrate the actor's continuous contribution to cinema and popular culture in India with this award.
Overwhelmed by the festival's recognition, SRK had earlier said, "I'm humbled and honoured for this recognition. It will be a great experience to share the stage and the podium with my fellow industry members who are all coming from various parts of India to celebrate cinema in Melbourne. I look forward to meeting her excellency, Linda Dessau, at the wonderful evening that has been planned by IFFM."
Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan is the chief guest at IFFM while his filmmaker friend Karan Johar will be hoisting the Indian flag at the event.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai's Zero.
