High-octane Bollywood action film lovers will be in for a treat this October when Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer War hits the large screens. Directed by Siddharth Anand, War is said to be high on adrenaline and will have the two stars pulling off some heavy-duty stunts. Speaking about the same, director Siddharth Anand reveals that a bike stunt scene they shot involving Hrithik and Tiger was very risky and could have lead to fatal injuries to the two stars. But the equation between Hrithik and Tiger helped them pull off the stunt without any mishap. "This was an incredibly high-risk scene as my actors could have got severely injured had any one single detail not worked out perfectly. It's a high-speed motorcycle chase scene that will see Hrithik riding a superbike and Tiger chasing him on foot. It needed Tiger to showcase his parkour prowess to time his jump perfectly so that he crashes into Hrithik and both of them break through glass window panes," said Siddharth in a recent statement.
"On top of that, we conceptualised this bit at a blind spot, a juncture where two lanes meet so both Hrithik and Tiger couldn't time their movement by looking at each other," adds Siddharth further. This particular bike stunt is also seen in the teaser released recently and fans were in awe with the way it was executed. Watch the teaser of War right here:
Expected to be one of the most expensive projects of Yash Raj Films, War is shot in six countries and will feature some heavy-duty stunts, which will be a huge treat for the fans of both the stars. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor in a key role. War is directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously helmed Salaam Namaste and Bang Bang. War is all set to hit the screens on October 2 and will clash with Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh's Marjaavaan at the box office.
