Last night was drama and glitz night as the TV reality show Bigg Boss Marathi's second season came to an end. On Sunday night, Shiv Thakare went on to bag the title of the reality series. Shiv whose claim to fame is being a part of youth-based reality show Roadies, lifted the trophy of Bigg Boss Marathi 2. Thakare beats Neha Shitole last night. Shitole is best known for being a part of digital series Sacred Games, wherein she played Katekar's wife. Shiv's victory surely came as a shocker to many, who also indulged into a showmance with co-participant Veena Jagtap. The two also had a romantic dance performance in the finale, dancing on Kabir Singh's hit track Bekhayali.
Shiv was best known for his non-volatile nature on the show and also his love story with Veena. Also, he had a strong youth fan base supporting him post his stint in Roadies. Besides Shiv, Veena Jagtap, Shivani Surve, Neha Shitole, Aroh Welankar and Kishori Shahane were the other finalists competing for the trophy. Along with the winner's prize money, Shiv Thakare also won Rs 17 lakh.
Post his victory, Shiv also posted a thank you message on Instagram. He posted a video thanking everyone for making him win the controversial reality series.
This season of Bigg Boss Marathi which was also hosted by Mahesh Manjrekarwas shot in Goregoan Film City, unlike the first season which was based in Lonavla.
