Karwa Chauth 2019: Deepika Padukone to Priyanka Chopra Jonas - celebrities who would keep a fast for their dear husbands

Last year many celebs tied the knot. It was like a wedding galore in Indian. Given the fact that it was celebrities who were getting hitched, there had to be much hullaballoo. With two receptions each, not only celebs but media were tired as celebrities upon celebrities walked out donning their best suits and designer wears to congratulate the newlyweds on their new journey.

Celebrities who took the plunge last year were Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas, Kapil Sharma, and Ginni Chatrath. This year we saw Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah tying the knot as well. So that makes Deepika, Priyanka, Ginni, and Pooja. We don't know about men but is they do observe a fast for their better halves, it would be quite sweet! Don't you think?

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took the plunge at the picturesque location of Lake Como. It was a private affair with close friends and family in attendance. Ranveer whisked Deepu (the nickname given by RS) on 14 and 15 November 2018. They tied the knot as per Sindhi and Konkani traditions. This makes it Deepika and Ranveer's first Karwa Chauth after their wedding!

Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas

Priyanka Chopra and Nick's wedding has to be one of the most beautiful weddings ever. Nick stole our Desi Girl right here in India. They married lavishly at Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur. It was a dual wedding as per both Hindu and Christian traditions. They got hitched on December 1. Nick is quite fond of Indian culture and it would be interesting to know his thoughts about the Karwa Chauth ritual.

Kapil Sharma-Ginni Chatrath

Kapil married his support system Ginni at The Grand Cabbana Resort on the Jalandhar - Phagwara Highway on December 12, 2018. It was a big fat Punjabi affair with the presence of family members and close friends. Ginni is also pregnant with her first child. While fasting won't be good, it would sweet if Kapil observed a fast on Ginni's behalf, don't you think?

Pooja Batra- Nawab Shah

Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah took everyone by surprise when the news of their wedding surfaced. They had been dating since the beginning of this year and quickly decided to take the plunge. Ther social media photos are too HOT to handle. Both are fitness freaks and fasting would be easy for them, don't you think?
