Well, if you remember desi girl of Bollywood Priyanka Chopra was the first choice for the film but she left the film just before the shooting of the film was expected to start. Post that, Salman Khan fans troll PeeCee for her decision. The actress recently wrapped up the shooting of Bharat and revealed why she chose this film over Salman Khan's venture. But the twist here is her statement, where she said that Bharat is a song and dance film. In a video, which is going viral on the social media, PeeCee said, Everyone questions my judgment why not this tent-pole, potboiler, song and dance film and why am I playing a mother . Priyanka further added that she chose The Sky Is Pink because of director of filmmaker Shonali Bose and her vision.
During the promotions of Bharat, Salman quoted, She has had a huge struggle in her career before she went on to become this super achiever. If she decided to leave everything and get married, it is amazing. She is the most professional person there is. Just check out her life graph. Talking about The Sky Is Pink, it is a love story of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary's parents. Aisha was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. October writer Juhi Chaturvedi has penned the story. The movie is slated for an October 11 release.
