For years to come, fans have always found quirky ways of paying tributes to their favourite actors and the actors too have taken note of those special gifts from their loyal fans. While some make collages and frames of their superstars, some present them with soft toys and customised cakes, some others actually get haircuts or even extreme - tattoos done with their favourite actor's name. And when it comes to South fans, the level of craze for the superstars out there is mindblowing. From erecting huge standees to decorating theatres during their releases, fans do everything in their capacity to celebrate the stars and their films. And so, when it came to Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming birthday on June 22, fans down South decided to gift him with a special treat.

It is being said that it all started as a family game, where a fan listed down the favourite actors of each person in his family. In a tweet, the fan wrote, "Favorite Actors of my family members: Grandpa - Sivaji and Vijay, Grandma - Gemini Ganesan and Vijay, Dad - Vijay, Mom - Vijay, Brother - Vijay, Me - Vijay... What a way to bring in the star's birthday, right?

On the work front, Vijay has done some iconic films in Tamil cinema and fans cannot get enough of him. Some of his recent films include Theri, Mersal and Sarkar. He is currently working on the Atlee directorial which is an untitled sports drama but fans have been refering to it as Thalapathy 63. This will be Vijay's thrid collaboration with Atlee after Theri and Mersal.
