Dance India Dance: Battle of Champions
Zee TV's flagship dance reality show Dance India Dance went on air in the month of June in a new avatar. The show was rechristened by the channel as Dance India Dance: Battle of Champions. The makers also got onboard Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan, who made her TV debut with the dance reality show.
Ekta Kapoor brought back the next season of Kawach as Kawach: Mahashivratri. This time the show also brought popular TV actors like Deepika Singh and Namik Paul back on the small screens. The first season starred Vivek Dahiya, Mona Singh and Maheck Chahal. This year's story revolves around a wife protecting her husband from evil forces.
Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum
Sandip Sikcand's daily soap Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, which has been on the backburner for a really long time, finally hit the TV screens last month. It also marked the return of Bigg Boss 12 winner Dipika Kakar to the daily soap space. The story revolves around a TV actress and a doctor's love story.
Ek Bhram - Sarvagun Sampanna
One of the most hyped shows of this year was Ek Bhram - Sarvagun Sampanna due to its marketing tactic. Shrenu Parikh was tagged as the latest vamp of the town with the show. However due to lower ratings, the show was revamped recently, and leads Shrenu Parikh and Zain Imam's love drama will begin.
