#BLBestOf6: Kabir Singh, Gully Boy, Uri or Kesari - which film did you like the most?

It is safe to say that Bollywood had a bumpy run in the first half of 2019 although there were many films which shattered a whole lot of box office records. Movies like Gully Boy, Uri: The Surgical Strike, Akshay Kumar- Parineeti Chopra starrer Kesari and Kabir Singh featuring Shahid Kapoor- Kiara Advani went uphill, given the amount of money it minted at the box office and fantastic reviews from critics and audience. Looking at the flip side of the coin, films like Why Cheat India, The Accidental Prime Minister, Junglee, Milan Talkies, Bombariya, Amavas among many others. The number of flop movies is high as compared to the hit ones and hence as we mentioned the first half of 2019 has been a bumpy ride for B-town.

Now as we move into the second half of this year with new hopes and aspirations, for once we look back at the movies which people enjoyed and liked the most. However, out of the four films that we mention, you guys have to vote for your favourite thereby making it the best film of 2019's first half. And those four movies are- Kabir Singh, Gully Boy, Kesari and Uri: The Surgical Strike.

Before you make the right choice, let us share some details about these films quickly...

Kabir Singh

Kabir Singh, the official remake of Telugu hit Arjun Reddy, made earth-shattering records at the box office and boy is it a blockbuster. The Sandeep Vanga directorial featured Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in key roles and this movie turned out to be Shahid's career best. The actor got his due after 15 years in the industry and how! Sasha was showered with IMMENSE love and the box office numbers, endless compliments are a testimony to the fact.

Gully Boy

Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Varma and co. made people go ga-ga with their foot-thumping rap and their over the top acting skills. Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy was a massive hit and it connected with the masses on many levels.

Uri: The Surgical Strike

How's the josh? HIGH SIR! This is exactly what people kept chanting after the Vicky Kaushal-Yami Gautam-Mohit Raina starrer hit the silver screens. The movie based on the Indian Army's surgical strike against Pakistan made everyone proud and evoked so many sentiments. How's the Josh? has become a common sentiment now.

Kesari

It's all about the love for the motherland. This is what the 21 soldiers had in their mind while they fought against the Pashtun tribesmen. These brave-hearts didn't think a bit before sacrificing their lives while protecting their motherland. This battle of Saragarhi depicted by Anurag Singh on the silver screen with Akshay Kumar aboard got a standing ovation from the audience and critics.
