The couple-based dance reality show, Nach Baliye 9 is currently making waves as the show is returning back on the tube. And this year, the makers have brought a twist in the show, with the addition of the ex-element in the concept. Along with five jodis, the makers will also have five estranged couples who are not in a relationship anymore. One of the contestants in the show is TV actress Anita Hassanandani. The actress, who was last seen in the supernatural drama Naagin 3, will be seen shaking a leg with her hubby Rohit Reddy in the upcoming season of the dance show.
Now, as per a little birdie, Anita's participation in the show has come only after a hefty price. "Anita was approached even in the earlier seasons, however due to some reason or the other, she didn't end up signing the show. This year, the makers have offered her a meaty amount to participate in the show, which she couldn't refuse," a source close to the development revealed. Apparently, the actress is the highest paid contestant on the show. While the bets of being the highest paid would have been on Kundali Bhagya actress Shraddha Arya, our sources have something else to say.
Despite repeated attempts, Anita didn't respond to our calls and messages.
However, in a statement earlier, the actress shared her excitement for participating in the show. She said, "I love to dance and I always wanted to be a part of Nach Baliye but couldn t take it up earlier due to prior commitments. Now that I have more time on hand with less commitments, I can focus entirely on Nach Baliye and do justice to all the performances. Also, this show is produced by Salman Khan and Bani J and I simply had to do it!"
In the statement, Anita also added how she is prepping for the show. "I am dancing after a really long time so using this time to work on myself and warm up my body. I m trying to give my best in everything my choreographers are teaching me."
