It's a schedule warp for Ayushmann Khurrana and co for Bala. The Amar Kaushik directorial has everyone intrigued by its unique and interesting concept. Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana the film also stars Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles. Bala narrates the story of a man facing premature balding. This comedy-drama is being produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films. To announce the schedule wrap, Amar took to his social handle and shared a series of pictures and videos.
In the pictures and video, we can see Ayushmann, Yami and the whole crew of the film cutting the cake to celebrate the wrap. However, missing from the video and the scene was Bhumi. He shared the picture on his story from the cake cutting and tagged everyone in it. He also uploaded the picture of the cake and it looks delicious. Meanwhile, on the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana was recently seen in Article 15. He has quite impressive films lined up as well. The actor has Dream Girl, which features Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actress Nushrat Bharucha in the lead. Produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl will release in theatres on September 13. Ayushmann also has Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, a sequel to hit Shubh Mangal Savdhaan. While the first part spoke about erectile dysfunction, the sequel is a homosexual love story.
Ayushmann's next is a quirky comedy which is his first collaboration with superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Gulabo Sitabo is directed by Shoojit Sircar, who is known for helming aces like Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe, Piku and October. The film is produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar and will release on April 24 next year.
Talking about Bala, apart from Ayushman, Bhumi and Yami the film also stars Saurabh Shukla, Jaaved Jaaferi and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles. Bala will hit the screens on November 22nd.
