Kabir Singh box office collection Day 16: Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani starrer mints Rs 226 crore

The euphoria of Kabir Singh refuses to die down as fans continue to shower love on Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani s intense love drama. Continuing its successful run at the box office the film has reached the massive total of Rs 226.11 crore in 16 days. The collections jumped to Rs 7.51 crore on Saturday, adding to this impressive business. According to trade expert Tara Adarsh, Kabir Singh s faring better at the box office that several previous hits like Padmaavat, Sultan, Sanju and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

With this total, Kabir Singh has set another benchmark. 2019 s highest Bollywood grosser, Vicky Kaushal s Uri: The Surgical Strike had collected Rs 225 crore in 38 days while Shahid Kapoor s Kabir Singh achieved this feat in just 16 days at the box office! The film is now expected to gain the top spot in the highest grossing films of 2019, by beating Uri s lifetime total of Rs 245.36 crore.

Last week, the team of Kabir Singh celebrated the success of the film with a grand party in Mumbai. Shahid Kapoor, Kiara Advani, director Sandeep Reddy, and producer Murad Khetani came together for the bash. Shahid looked the happiest as he flashed his biggest smile at the paparazzi. With Kabir Singh, Shahid has recorded his first solo hit and we are expecting many more such victories from the actor.

Kabir Singh has fetched rave reviews from all quarters and our Editor-in-chief Tushar P Joshi gave the film four stars and wrote, "Kabir Singh is an ace up Shahid Kapoor s sleeve and a treat for his fans.
