KGF director Prashanth Neel rejects Mahesh Babu for Jr NTR?

Last year's Kannada blockbuster KGF (Kolar Gold Fields) has turned out to be gamechanger not only for the lead star Yash but also for director Prashanth Neel, who later got many offers from various production houses for helming a project under their banners. There is a strong buzz that the filmmaker will soon make his Tollywood debut after wrapping up the second chapter of KGF. In fact, there are speculations he is considering the names of Prabhas and Jr NTR for his first Telugu project.

Popular production house Mythri Movie Makers, who are behind blockbusters like Rangasthalam. Srimanthudu and Janatha Garage have already paid advance to the director for helming a project under their banner. They want to direct Mahesh Babu's next film but Prashanth has asked the producers to seek the dates of Jr NTR. As per the latest report, Prashanth is working on a project, which perfectly suits Jr NTR and he is willing to narrate him the story after finishing KGF 2. Well, we have to wait for the official confirmation for that.

Meanwhile, Jr NTR is currently shooting for SS Rajamouli's RRR. The film also stars Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Samuthirakani in key roles. It is a fictitious story set in the 1920s and based on two legendary freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju. The movie unveils the central characters from their home in Delhi, after which they begin fighting for the country. It is a pan-Indian film painted on a large canvas. RRR will release on July 30, 2020, in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and other Indian languages simultaneously.
