Malaika Arora moves on from Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3: I am not involved with the film

Malaika Arora made for a memorable act in Dabangg and Dabangg 2 as Munni, even while she just featured in a song. Not only did she add glamour to the series, but Malaika was also a co-producer on the project with ex-husband Arbaaz Khan. However, with the third installment, Malaika is no longer a part of the project and has been replaced by a Munna Badnaam Hua performance which will feature Salman Khan.

Speaking about her disassociation from the project, Malaika told Times of India, No my dear, I am not involved with the film. Everyone involved with the project has moved on and I only wish each and every one all the best for the venture.

And while Dabangg 3 is not on her plate, Malaika plans to continue to produce worthy content. She further added, I would definitely want to produce some really good content in my company. The kind of content you see across platforms, in films and otherwise, is so promising. I might actually produce a short film or something but nothing immediately. A lot of ideas have come my way and I am just taking my time to green light one or some of them. Actually, this is the best time of my life. For any woman today, life actually begins post 40. It s an age in which a woman was once considered oh-so-redundant. Today, she s a lot freer in that same age window.

Apart from her busy professional life, Malaika is enjoying a romantic relationship with Arjun Kapoor. The duo recently made their relationship public and also jetted off for a vacation to New York, which also involved Arjun s birthday celebrations.

Back in Mumbai, Malaika and Arjun proved that they are no longer shy of getting clicked together. Yesterday, the duo were snapped by the paparazzi after a lunch date and Arjun-Malaika made no effort to stay away from the eager photogs.
