Ananya Panday has been best friends with Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana since childhood. The two have done notorious things together, laughed till their stomachs hurt and stood rock solid by each other's side in good and bad times. And that's what BFF's usually do. It was Ananya and Suhana's childhood dream to become actors. And we saw the Panday girl fulfilling her dream recently. Chunkey Panday's daughter made her Hindi film debut with Karan Johar's high school drama Student Of The Year 2 ft. Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. The Punit Malhotra directorial didn't work out too well at the box office but Ananya Panday was lauded for her performance. However, despite all the praise coming her way, the 21-year-old's film was criticised for other reasons.
After her film released, Ananya hit the headlines for the incident that erupted when her self-acclaimed friends from school leaked chats and screenshots of status updates that snowballed into a vicious circle of hate and more hate. During that low phase, Suhana Khan was by her BFF's side throughout and helped her deal with negativity.
And now that Ananya Panday has come up with her DSR (Digital Social Responsibility) - So Positive to fight against online bullying, we hear that Suhana Khan has decided to support her bestie again. BollywoodLife has exclusively learnt that Suhana Khan is going to lend her support to Ananya by shooting a special video for the SOTY 2 star's initiative, So Positive. That's the sweetest and most generous thing one can do for his/her BFF, no?
Meanwhile, Ananya also revealed to us that since her bestie has bagged an award for her contribution to drama from Ardingly College, she wants a party from her. And we hope Suhana is listening. Sharing their collective dream of becoming actors, Ananya Panday had recently said, "It has been our collective dream to become actors. I hope Suhana and Shanaya join the industry soon because they both are so talented. When we were young, during our family gatherings, we would put together shows and perform in front of our parents. Shah Rukh (Khan) sir would record us on a Handycam, and we would make short films out of them."
As for the actress' So Positive initiative, Ananya has formed it to build a community to create maximum awareness on social media bullying. Here's hoping the actress will make a good change through her DSR initiative.
