Kartik-Naira, Anurag-Prerna, Abhi-Pragya – TV couples whose separation was too cruel to bear

Gotta admit television shows have a separate (HUGE) fan base. Each show has a unique flavour and plot/story which has the audience hooked to their TV screens every week. While the makers do their best to make each love story a unique one, there is one common tried and tested formulaic twist SEPARATION. And recently, we have seen quite a few shows in which our favourite on-screen couples went their own separate ways. Without further ado, let's have a look

Kaira Kartik and Naira (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai)

Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan have a huge fan base all over the world. Their fans are outraged with the current track of the show and they have threatened the makers to boycott the show the two estranged lovers weren't brought back together. TADKA: Kartik tying the knot with Vedika, despite being married to Naira.

Anupre Anurag and Prerna (Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2)

We all witnessed when Prerna ditched Anurag at the altar and married Mr. Bajaj. Along with Anurag, several fans of the show were heartbroken and expected the makers to bring a different storyline in the reboot of the show. But looks like Prerna and Anurag, though match made in heaven, will not reunite in this life probably

Akshan Akshat and Guddan (Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega)

Guddan and Akshat is the next couple who have the tadka of the third person in their life. Antara, Akshat's ex-wife has come back to make the couple's life a living hell. Being the scheming woman she is, Antara is hell-bent on getting Akshat back God knows when Antara will leave them alone!

Abigya Abhi and Pragya (Kumkum Bhagya)

It seems like Abhi and Pragya won't ever reunite in this or any other life. The two have been separated a number of times and had a number of misses in reuniting in recent times. They have separated so many times that now we wonder, what's the real reason behind their separation
