Love is in the air again! And this time, the rumoured couple in question is Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia. For the starters, Abhimanyu and Shirley have signed up for Sabbir Khan's Nikamma and something seems to be cooking between the duo. Bhagyashree's son made his Bollywood debut opposite Pataakha actress Radhika Madan in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. Although the film was underrated, Abhimanyu Dassani was lauded for his fine acting chops. As for Shirley, she is a social media star from Auckland with over 5 million followers and counting. The announcement of their action entertainer was made recently and Shilpa Shetty came aboard for Nikamma as well.
Hardly a few days after the announcement, word is that Abhimanyu is apparently dating his co-star Shirley. If a Mumbai Mirror report is anything to go with, then they are the newest couple in the tinsel town. However, neither of the two has gone on record to deny or confirm their relationship rumours.
Talking about Nikamma, Abhimanyu had earlier told Mid-Day, "The belief that Sabbir and Sony Pictures have shown in me is exhilarating plus this genre brings a whole set of challenges that are very exciting." On the other hand, Shirley, who forays into B-town with Nikamma had added, "I couldn't have asked for a better launch and I am glad that my first foray into Bollywood is a prestigious association with an international studio and Sabbir sir, who has successfully launched such exciting talent in the industry."
Lastly, the filmmaker himself retorted, "I am always going to try and introduce new talent to the industry and I am excited to present Abhimanyu and Shirley. They are a breath of fresh air and remind me of the zest that Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon had in their debut."
The first schedule of Nikamma wrapped up in July and the film is slated to release in Summer 2020.
