'Nothing changes between us as friends,' says Salman Khan after Inshallah with Sanjay Leela Bhansali gets pushed

In a shocking development, Inshallah, Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film, has been held off by the makers for now for unknown reasons. Salman first tweeted saying that the film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Eid 2020 has been pushed and instead he will come with a different film. This led to rumours that the film has been shelved and all is now well between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Sanjay's production house later tweeted that the film has been pushed for now and will not go ahead. This led to more speculations and rumour mills started churning out different versions. However, Salman Khan seems to be pretty clear about what he is doing. "One thing I can say it that Sanjay won't do gaddaari with his film. I want him to make the film he wants to make. Nothing changes between us as friends and I'm sure nothing has changed in Sanjay's heart for me. I'm extremely close to his mother and sister. I wish him all the best. He and I will work in the future on a film, Inshallah," Salman Khan was quoted as saying by Mumbai Mirror.

The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!

This may clear some air around the reports that there is a rift between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan. And this is not the first time that the two have landed in similar situation. From Devadas till Saawariya, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan have had their own share of differences which they have dumped and worked too.

Speaking about Inshallah, the film would have Salman Khan playing an Orlando-based businessman while Alia Bhatt would be seen playing a wannabe actress from Varanasi. The two meet in an unexpected situation and how their lives cross path forms the core of the subject. Apparently, Salman loved the subject and agreed to do it immediately. But looks like fans of Bhai will have to wait longer.
