Prabhas may no longer do big-budget films and THIS is the reason

Baahubali star Prabhas is all set for the release of his next Saaho which is touted to be India's biggest action film. Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho is made on a budget of approximately Rs 350 crore and the lavishness shows in the visuals of the film. And this is the third project that Prabhas is part of which has such a magnanimous budget. But the actor says he no longer do such heavy budget films in future. Interacting with media in Chennai during the promotions of Saaho, Prabhas told a leading Tamil daily that he did only three films in last six years while other actors could have easily done five more than him. He has now decided to cut down on such heavy films and hence the decision.

Prabhas also opines that this is also the hangover of Baahubali which was baggage given to him by SS Rajamouli. However, Prabhas says that whatever happens he will have to move on. In an interview with PTI, Prabhas says Saaho was mentally stressing. And not because of the director or the script but because of the baggage which Rajamouli gave me. "There is now a lot of audience, you don't even know which part loved you more. My friend told me how kids in Gujurat are singing Baahubali songs. So the pressure is also more. It is scary. I have had so many sleepless nights for 'Saaho.' I couldn't sleep for many days because of the stress. Suddenly it gets on to you," the actor told the portal.

Saaho is touted to be India's biggest action film and stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho has an ensemble cast with names like Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Mandira Bedi, Evelyn Sharma, Arun Vijay and Lal. Made on a huge budget, Saaho is slated to be released on August 30 worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
