Samantha Akkineni was last seen in Oh Baby which was a remake of Korean film Miss Granny. Directed by Nandini Reddy, Oh Baby had a terrific run at the box office and earned a gross collection of more than Rs 60 crore at the box office. Samantha hasn't signed any film since then and is said to be waiting for right film. However, we hear that Samantha may have signed Nagarjuna's Bangarraju, a sequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana.
On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya was last seen in Majili which also starred Samantha Akkineni. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film was a hit at the box office and turned out to be one of the biggest hits. Chay will next be seen in Venky Mama which also stars his uncle Venkatesh Daggubati in other lead roles. Directed by KS Ravindra, the film is slated to be released this year and makers are yet to confirm the release date of the film.
