South weekly recap: From Sye Raa to Valmiki teaser, here's are the top stories of the week

The past week has been one of the most rollicking ones with lots of activity in South cinema. The making video of Sye Raa starring Chiranjeevi was released by the makers and the wait for the film got harder after watching it. Also, the teaser of Valmiki was released by makers and Varun Tej's menacing look blew fans' mind away. Here's a quick recap of the top stories of the week

Sye Raa making:

Chiranjeevi-starrer Sye Raa is gearing up for release on October 2 and the makers have begun the promotions. And as part of it, a making video was released which shows the kind of canvas the film is being made on. From high-octane stunts to horse riding, Sye Raa has everything a Telugu movie lover would want to watch on large screen. Watch it right here:

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivn:

Star couple Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivn visited the holy shrine of Athi Varadar in Kanchipuram. A picture of the couple is going viral on social media in which they are seen taking blessings at the temple. Check it out here:

Valmiki teaser:

Telugu remake of Jigarthanda titled Valmiki is gearing up for release soon. And ahead of the release, the makers released a teaser of the film and Varun Tej looks menacing in it. His dreaded gansgter look steals the show in the teaser. Watch it right here:

AA19 trailer:

Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas have joined hands for the third time and the shooting of the film has begun already. The makers have now release the title teaser of the film. AA19 is now titled Ala Vaikuntapuramlo and Allu Arjun's look is quite quirky. Watch it here:

Nandita Das Virataparvam:

Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi's Virataparvam is currently being shot in Hyderabad and the film also stars Bollywood actress Tabu in a key role. And according to latest reports, Tabu has opted out of the project and Nandita Das has replaced her in it. However, these are mere speculations and the makers are yet to confirm this development.

Sarileru Neekevvaru:

On Independence Day, makers of Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru released the title song of the film and dedicated it to the armed forces. The song describes the sacrifices and efforts the soldiers make to protect our nation and it is quite touching. Listen to it right here:
