Taapsee will be seen in an action-oriented role in Jayam Ravi's film with Ahmed

After Game Over, Taapsee Pannu was flooded with offers in Tamil and the actress hasn't signed any film yet. However, there were speculations that Taapsee has given her go ahead for Jayam Ravi's next which will be directed by Ahmed. According to a report in Times of India, Taapsee has signed the film and has begun shooting for the film. The report states that Taapsee will be seen essaying an action-oriented role and will be pulling off some high-octane stunts. "The film is an espionage thriller and Taapsee headed to Azerbaijan a couple of days ago to join the team. The yet-to-be-titled movie will be high on action and the makers thought the actress would fit the bill because she's pulled off some impressive stunt sequences in films like Baby and Naam Shabana in Bollywood. Both Ravi and Taapsee will be sporting different looks for the film and will be playing characters on the line of intelligence agents," TOI quoted a source as saying.

Last seen in Game Over, Taapsee is currently the most sought-after actress in Indian cinema with multiple offers. The Badla actress made a comeback of sorts in Tamil cinema after a brief gap with Game Over and bagged another hit in her career. Directed by Ashwin Saravanan, Game Over is a mystery thriller and received rave reviews from all quarters.

Besides this Jayam Ravi film, Taapsee will also be seen in Bollywood film Saand Ki Aankh which is directed by Tushar Hiranandani. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar and is based on the lives of sharpshooters Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar from Uttar Pradesh. The shooting of the film has been completed and is gearing up for release on 25 October this year.
