Ever since Thalapathy Vijay's next after Bigil was announced, speculations around who would be seen playing the leading lady in the film. Names like Rashmika Mandanna and Nayanthara are doing rounds which were yet to be confirmed. The latest we hear that this Bollywood actress is being considered. News has it that Kiara Advani has been approached to play the leading lady in the film which is yet to be titled. If this materialises, this will be her debut in Tamil cinema and will be a big stage. After making a splashing entry in Telugu cinema, if happens, this will be another big platform for Kiara in another South Indian cinema. It will be interesting if the actress agrees to play the part in #Thalapathyh64.
On other hand, it is being reported that makers are planning to rope in a popular Tamil actor to play the antagonist. According to reports, Vijay Sethupathi has been signed on to play the antagonist in this film which will be an intense drama. Fans of both the actors are quite kicked about this development since it be fireworks on screen when they come together. An official announcement regarding this yet to be made by the makers. Social media is abuzz with this latest update about the film which is temporarily being referred to as Thalapathy 64.
The film will be produced by Xavier Britto under the banner XB Film Creators. The music of Thalapathy 64 will be compared by Anirudh Ravichander while the cinematography will be handled by Sathya Sooran. The makers also confirmed that the film will release in Summer 2020 much to the joy of fans.
