After Bigil, Thalapathy Vijay will next team up with Lokesh Kanagaraj for his next which was announced recently. The film is yet to be titled and is being referred to as Thalapathy 64 temporarily. The makers are working on the rest of the cast of the film currently and soon more announcements would be made. And amidst all this, an interesting update about the film has made way to the internet. According to reports, Vijay Sethupathi has been signed on to play the antagonist in this film which will be an intense drama. Fans of both the actors are quite kicked about this development since it be fireworks on screen when they come together. An official announcement regarding this yet to be made by the makers.
Social media is abuzz with this latest update about the film which is temporarily being referred to as Thalapathy 64. The film will be produced by Xavier Britto under the banner XB Film Creators. The music of Thalapathy 64 will be compared by Anirudh Ravichander while the cinematography will be handled by Sathya Sooran. The makers also confirmed that the film will release in Summer 2020 much to the joy of fans.

Vijay is currently working on Bigil which is directed by Atlee. This film is the third collaboration of Vijay and Atlee and fans expect to see the same magic woven in the previous two. Bigil also stars Nayanthara as the leading lady and will be her fourth film with Vijay. The music is composed by AR Rahman and couple of songs from the album have already been released.
Vijay Sethupathi has a bunch of films under his belt which includes his Bollywood debut alongside Aamir Khan. Sethupathi will be seen playing Aamir's friend in Lal Singh Chaddha which is a remake of Hollywood film Forrest Gump. Vijay Sethupathi will also make his debut in Telugu cinema with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which stars Chiranjeevi in titular role.
