THIS Naamkarann actor to romance Jennifer Winget in Beyhadh 2?

Remember Jennifer Winget's popular mystery drama Beyhadh? Well, it is a known fact that the show is returning with its second season. The show is slated to go on air in the second half of the year. And if latest reports are to be believed the work on the show is already on. Producer Prateek Sharma has already made it clear that the show will have Jennifer Winget returning as the central protagonist Maya. The first season revolved around her obsession. And as per the latest reports, the second season might have a different lead. While the first season had Kushal Tandon, the second season might see actor Viraf Patel romancing Winget.

According to a report in Bombay Times, Viraf Patel who was last seen playing the lead of the popular TV show Naamkarann, is currently in talks to step into Tandon's shoes. The Ek Bond Ishq actor is currently talking to the team and if everything falls into the right place he will be seen romancing Jennifer Winget. A source close to the development told the paper, "Yes, we are looking forward to roping in Viraf Patel for the part of the leading man on the show. However, there is a twist in the character he will play on the show, which will surely take his fans by surprise. He is a talented actor and we hope to recreate the 'Beyhad' magic with the new season."

Earlier, while talking about the project, show producer Prateek Sharma had said, "Later part of the year we will start Beyhadh 2. The conversations are on. No information is given on that. Right now nothing is finalised. The storyline we have finalised though." Talking the story line, he said, "Beyhadh has always been about obsession."

Before that in another interview, the producer had confirmed Jennifer's part in the season 2 saying, "Who else can play Maya better than Jennifer Winget? I am ecstatic and totally looking forward to Beyhadh 2 as Beyhadh is my flagship show. Things are now at very initial stages. We are in discussion with Jennifer for her dates, as we all know she is a star and is busy with a certain thing."
