Vicky Kaushal has the funniest reaction to Taapsee Pannu's childhood picture

Taapsee Pannu who is currently enjoying the success of Mission Mangal posted her childhood picture on her Instagram account stating the importance of sports in one's life. "Sports have been an integral part of my life. School race tracks became my war zone every year and thanks to a supportive family and encouraging school teachers I could have my moment of glory. Unfortunately many kids don't have that support system #WhyTheGap @stc_india." Her Manmarziyaan co-star Vicky Kaushal posted the funniest reply in the comments. "Pakka do chaar ko dhakka zaroor maara hoga," The Uri star wrote. But Taapsee had a wittiest reply, "ji nahi! I am a very fair player! Look at that innocent face!"

Soon after Vicky Kaushal, Maanmarziyaan director Anurag Kashyap too left a comment on the picture saying, "Chalo koi award to mila ?" Taapsee once again had a clever reply, "Ha ha ha. School college sab theek tha life mein uske baad the competitions became TOO FAIR."

About the picture, Taapsee was nominated by her Mission Mangal co-star Akshay Kumar who along with wife Twinkle Khanna had initiated a campaign #WhyTheGap through which they urged people to impart education to children, sharing their stories on how education helped them in achieving success. Akshay and Twinkle had earlier posted throwback images from their childhood and challenged their friends from the industry. It was Twinkle Khanna who began the hashtag #WhyTheGap on social media by posting her childhood picture.

After she challenged Akshay Kumar, he posted a throwback picture captioning it, "Growing up I was always inclined towards sports and my mother would ensure I got nutritious home-cooked meals to fuel my passion. But it's a privilege that millions of street children do not have access to. 11,72,604 children in India can't afford even a single meal a day! It's time to ask #WhyTheGap with Save the Children India." He emphasised on the importance of health and nutrition in the growing-up years. This challenge was then taken up by Taapsee Pannu.

On the work front Taapsee Pannu is awaiting the release of her next film Saand Ki Aankh while she enjoys the success of Mission Mangal. Saand Ki Aankh also stars Bhumi Pednekar. The film is a biopic based on the life of sharpshooters Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar. The film has been partly shot in Hastinapur and Mawana in Uttar Pradesh. It will hit the screen on October 25, 2019.
