Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were reuniting after almost 15 years and fans were getting prepped to see some visual stunners on screen. However, these exciting moments did not last long as the project, titled Inshallah, got shelved which was confirmed by both Salman and Sanjay. However, the reason was not revealed by either of them which led to loads of speculations. One of the reasons, it was said, that the remuneration of Salman Khan played a key role in the project getting shelved. And the latest we hear is a different perspective. According to a report in Times of India, Salman Khan wanted to co-produce the film and wanted profits in the film but Sanjay wanted him to focus only on acting. The report further stated that Salman, besides the Rs 50 crore remuneration, also wanted to get involved in the production of the film which Sanjay was against. This led to a series of arguments which led to the project being shelved.
The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!

Bhansali Productions has decided to not go ahead with In-shaa-Allah for now... Further announcement will be out soon... God willing??@prerna982

"The truth of the matter is that Bhansali's cost of production of the film without Salman's fee touched Rs 160 crore and his remuneration was decided by him as Rs 50 crore along with 40 percent profits. Since satellite and digital of Salman films are sold, none of the investors found any sense in investing almost Rs 210 crore and recovering it through only India theatrical and overseas," a source was quoted as saying by TOI. Whatever could be the reason, the ones that seem to be disappointed highly with the film are fans who were eagerly looking forward to the film.
And right after the project was shelved, rumours did rounds that all is not well between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the two can't see each other in the eye. Salman decided to respond to all of these and cleared all the air around it by saying,"One thing I can say it that Sanjay won't do gaddaari with his film. I want him to make the film he wants to make. Nothing changes between us as friends and I'm sure nothing has changed in Sanjay's heart for me. I'm extremely close to his mother and sister. I wish him all the best. He and I will work in the future on a film, Inshallah."
