IIFA 2019: "Inshallah will be made but not with me, " confirms Salman Khan - watch video

If you have somehow slept through it all, Bollywood hosted IIFA 2019 last night and it was the biggest gala of them all! The IIFA homecoming which took place in Mumbai after many years saw the who's who of showbiz turning up for the starry night, looking like a million bucks obviously. Actors including Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Aparshakti Khurana, Vicky Kaushal, Mouni Roy, Preity Zinta, Riteish Deshmukh and wife Genelia Deshmukh, Swara Bhasker, Urvashi Rautela, Zaheer Iqbal, Daisy Shah, Nikhil Diwedi, Gulshan Grover, Radhika Madan, Neil Nitin Mukesh were amongst the many who stepped out in a rainy night for the most glamourous award function. Not just them even superstar Salman Khan made a rare appearance as he introduced newbie and Dabangg co-star Saiee Manjrekar! But that's not even the tea! The actor while interacting with the media has finally confirmed that he is not doing Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah anymore. While speaking to the reporters, he said, "Currently, Inshallah is not being made. Inshallah will be made but at least not with me." Salman also recalled the time when Sonakshi Sinha was also introduced at the gala event, IIFA and added, "It's so strange that long time back, Sonakshi Sinha was also introduced on the ramp at IIFA and now this is her turn," he said. It is then, when a reporter remarked that she will hopefully spread the same magic and Salman being Salman quipped, "Inshallah. I am not talking about the film!" Don't believe us? While that is that, Salman was also seen having words and sharing laughs with none other than Alia Bhatt, who he was supposed to romance in SLB's film.

To remind you, the film which was supposed to reunite the superstar and the director after two long decades of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and was poised to become the biggest Eid release with Alia Bhatt in the mix but it all turned sour and how! Talks are on about Hrithik Roshan replacing Salman but only time will tell if there's any truth to that.

Meanwhile, a Mumbai Mirror report states that Salman is trying his best and probably action to meet audiences next year in Eid. He was keen on getting started with a sequel to No Entry but unfortunately, co-sar Anil Kapoor doesn't have dates. Let's wait and see how that unfold.
