Dharmendra Deol's grand-son is stepping his first step into Bollywood with Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass and none is so excited about his debut like Dharmendra himself. The grand-dad is on cloud nine that his legacy will be followed. The veteran actor who is quite active on his social media has been busy promoting his grandson and the family's third-generation actor, Karan Deol. Karan will soon make his Bollywood debut with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. The film incidentally is being helmed by Karan's father and actor Sunny Deol.
On being asked about his reaction when he got to know about Karan's desire to follow in his footsteps. The actor revealed that he saw himself in Karan. "Though Karan was more subdued, as his grandfather, I could feel his emotions, relate to passion. Acting is a big dream, it grows with time. Being an actor allows you to live many lives, I've played so many characters over the years so I could empathise with him." the actor told Mumbai Mirror.
Besides thinking from heart, Dharmendra reveals Karan's one innate quality that makes him all the more special. "Karan is shy and that's a plus. Shyness vapas nahin aati, besharmi toh kabhi bhi aa jayegi," Dharmendra added saying that initially, he himself, as well as Sunny, was shy. He further added that being shy is like a blessing as it teaches you to respect others, be protective and never hurt anyone.
Dharmendra has seen the film already and he was mighty impressed with the film. He was so much moved that he took to his social handle and urge his fans to watch Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. "It didn't seem like a film, but reality as it is today. And for a director to achieve this, is commendable. Karan has done all the action himself, but more than that it's the way he has depicted emotions. He made me cry in a few scenes." He added that Karan's success would make him younger all over again.
When asked when will the audience get to see him and Karan collaborating for a film together, the actor said, "Nothing is impossible in our industry," But the actor says that there no immediate plan to reunite as of now, owing to the failure of second and third part of Yamla Pagla Deewana.
