After Akshay Kumar's Bala challenge from Housefull 4 took the internet by storm, it's now turn for Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala to repeat the history. The song from the film, 'Don't Be Shy' has been ruling the charts and the lead star of the film has challenged his brother Aparshakti Khurana along with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor to do the signature steps. Bala revolves around a man living in Kanpur who suffers from premature baldness. The film's story is about his lack of confidence and the societal pressure that comes with balding. Talking about how drastically different he looked after the makeup, Ayushmann said: "It was a different person altogether, and I did not recognise myself. I thought I looked like my grandfather because he had scanty hair. But I could relate with the reason why there is the complex (among people who are suffering premature balding). My father is quite gifted that way. He will turn 70 next year and he still has full hair. But my grandfather had the issue, I remember. So I empathise with them. Having said that, during the shoot, the toughest part was prosthetic."
Bala is directed by Amar Kaushik, who earlier made Stree, and also features Yami Gautam, Bhumi Pednekar, Javed Jaffrey and Saurabh Shukla in key roles.
