Superstar Rajinikanth was last seen Petta has recently completed the shooting for his next titled Darbar. And before his next even releases, the superstar is joining hands with Viswasam director Siva for his next project, Thalaivar 168. Earlier on Friday morning, the news was shared by the production house announcing the collaboration of the two. "After the blockbuster hits Enthiran and Petta, the mega hit combo of Superstar Rajinikanth and Sun Pictures come together for the third time for Thalaivar 168. To be directed by Siva," tweeted Sun Pictures' Twitter handle. With the tweet they also shared the motion poster of the next project.

Thalaivar 168 is going to be Rajinikanth's third association with production house after their hit collaboration in the past with Enthiran and Petta. Currently the cast and the crew of the movie are being finalized.
This collaboration is said to be huge since Siva is a superhit director and has given some phenomenal hits in the past. Siva's directorial Viswasam clashed with Rajinikanth's last release Petta on the box office earlier this year. The two movies were released on Pongal and were box office hits.
Rajnikanth's next Darbar is directed by AR Murugadoss and presented by Lyca Productions. The film is touted to be one of the biggest release of the next year. It is slated to release on January 15, 2020. The primary cast includes Rajinikanth, Suniel Shetty, Nayanthara, Prateik Babbar, Nivetha Thomas, Dalip Tahil and Nawab Shah.
