Director Farhad Samji's Housefull 4 has turned out to be the first choice for the cine-goers on this Diwali season. While it managed to hold well, in the pre-Diwali phase, the reincarnation comedy witnessed a sensational growth on Diwali, which happens to be the New Year as per the Hindu calendar. It raked in Rs 34.56 crore and grabbed the fifth spot in the list of top 10 Diwali day collections of all-time after Thugs of Hindostan, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Happy New Year and Krrish 3.

Housefull 4 has also managed remain rock-steady on yesterday and collected a huge amount at the ticket windows. It has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark and since there is no big competition for the film, it has a strong chance of crossing the Rs 150 crore mark by the end of its second weekend at the domestic market.
Despite getting negative reviews, Housefull 4 is minting good numbers at the box office. Our critic Pankaj Sabnani, gave the film 2 stars and wrote, "Housefull 4 had the potential to be a lot better, but with only a few good and funny moments, it turns out to be average at best.
